| With the wind as my guide it's hard to put a solid calendar together. sure there are events, clinics, and some photo shoots that have to be fixed, but the rest is literally blowing in the wind. |

Were would speed be without a trip to Sotovento. Being of the oldest international speed events its given many a rider the best speeds, but its the ever changing conditions from silky smooth water to onshore waves that really make this the most challenging course on the tour |

I'm off to test out a new speed location, Sportif helped bring the Sotovento speed course to light back in the 80's. The search for a new speed location that could hold the magic 50 knot run continues, Sportif may have found such a location and are sending me out to test the waters. |

I've sailed Lake Garda a few times, its a fantastic location so it was hard to refuse when asked to come out and shoot the Topper Worlds. Hopefully I'll get a bit of sailing in the morning winds before we get the camera out, should be a good few days |

Walvis Bay in Namibia hosts the longest course of all, perfect for the Nautical Mile and with so much space its a great venue for mixing windsurfing and kiting on the same course. Last year the wind left us short, but being set over a month earlier in the windiest part of the year. Hopefully this year we'll see record falling. |

| Weymouth Speed Week |

The birth place of speed. Weymouth has stayed true to its roots with its mix of wind blown water craft. That may be a loose description, but some of the boats that turn up are worth the drive to see. Everything and anything can be seen on the water. The majority are windsurfers, but its the rest that put a smile on your face |

Boardwise maybe in the close to the center of the country, the demo is down in Wales where we should get some wind and waves. If you can't make it during the day, its still worth the trip for the evening, going by the past year this should be another special weekend. |

This should be a first, all the White family together in one place. Its been a long time in the planning, think all the grandchildren can't wait to get in a boat with Granddad (my Dad), he might not be so fast on land, but back in a boat and he's still got the skills that won him his Olympic Gold |
