Hindsight is a great thing. Going down the course it felt like all the speed was at the top, but looking at the track it’s easier to see this was just a feel from the acceleration. I thought I was backing off later in the run when I came across the rolling chop, reality is this was the fastest part of the course for me.

Looking through the pix proved waiting around doesn’t help the mind. Over the past weeks I’ve been using a higher boom with better effect, but with all the wild conditions I went back to my old ways of a lower boom.

Disappointed I didn’t get a higher peek, but feel I’ve learnt something from the day as my runs are getting more consistent as I loose weight.
